Le Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris a décidé, en date du 25 mars 2010, que les bibliothèques Mexique, Tunisie et Nuage, ont pour auteur unique Charlotte Perriand.
Les ayant-droits de Jean Prouvé contestent cette décision dont ils ont fait appel et indiquent qu'il s'agit d'une collaboration entre Jean Prouvé et Charlotte Perriand

En frêne, les plots démontables en tôle d'acier pliée peinte en noir, à cinq étages asymétriques, la partie centrale ouvrant par une porte coulissante en aluminium découvrant onze tiroirs en métal plié, la partie inférieure ouvrant d'un côté par une porte coulissante en aluminium et de l'autre par une pièce de tissu d'origine réalisé par Simone Prouvé

This lot will be sold with its original wrench adapted to Jean Prouvé's special screws as well as its period invoice and three studies
The French court of first instance in civil matters has decided in a ruling dated March 25th, 2010, that the bookcases known as 'Mexique', 'Tunisie' and 'Nuage' have been designed by Charlotte Perriand only. The heirs of Jean Prouvé do not agree with this ruling and have filed an appeal. They declare that these bookcases are the result of a collaboration work between Jean Prouvé and Charlotte Perriand
