Gilt movement with fixed going barrels for the going and musical trains, 53 mm., cylinder escapement, gold three armed balance, flat balance spring, polished steel endplate, index regulator, 25 tuned vibrating steel teeth acting on both sides of the large pinned musical disc, gold dial with guilloche center and white enamel cartouches for the Arabic numerals, outer engraved minute division, blued steel moon-style hands, gold Empire-style case, milled band, engine-turned back cover, hinged gilt brass cuvette, repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant, lever at 8 o'clock under the cuvette for music/silent mode, bolt at 1 for locking the repeat, bolt at 6 for activating the music, numbered 859 on the movement under the dial, case numbered and hallmarked
