Property of An Important Texas Collector The following private collection exemplifies the passion and dedication of a husband and wife team seeking masterpieces of horology. The 55 timepieces including 50 Patek Philippe watches were collected over a 40 year period. The scope centers upon timepieces with both aesthetic and mechanical perspectives. From the rare silver chased hunting case watch with original certificate and presentation box, to the unique openface enamel watch with Lake Geneva to the elegant and yellow gold openface watch with black dial, these collectors sought watches they enjoyed wearing and appreciated as works of art. Their passion for watches took them down many roads. One sees in the collection iconic masterpieces like the white gold perpetual calendar wristwatch with moon phases and bracelet (lot 90) to spectacular marvels like an 18k white gold and diamond asymmetrical wristwatch (lot 89) and the unusual yellow gold bracelet watch with blue gold dial and matching bracelet (lot 87).
