Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with white gold bracelet in 1968 and its subsequent sale on January 13 of the following year. The extract further states the watch had 30 diamonds with an approximate weight of 0.35ct. Further accompanied the original Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated January 13, 1969 and original bill of sale which states the watch cost 6680CHF in 1969.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never before been offered in public.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 3497 from 1963 until approximately 1968.
