With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1949 and its subsequent sale on September 21 of the same year.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never before been offered in public.

Patek Philippe produced the reference 2441 from 1948 until approximately 1958. The pink gold example of this iconic wristwatch is thought to have been produced in approximately 60 examples.

Reference 2441 is illustrated in Patek Philippe by M. Huber and A. Banberry, 1988, plate 163, p. 115.
