Lot Essay

The reference 5512 is the first Submariner model produced with protected crown guards. The model was only produced in stainless steel and carried calibers 1530, 1560 or 1570.

Reference 5512 is illustrated in 100 Years of Rolex by F. & G. Mondani, 2008, p. 92.
