Acquired directly from the artist in 1977 and thence by descent to the present owner.
Exhibited
Copenhagen, Kunstforeningen, Nuditskunst fra Jytte og Jarl Borgens samling, 1989, no. 126 (illustrated, p. 43). This exhibition later ravelled to Silkeborg, Silkeborg Kunstmuseum. Humlebaek, Louisiana, Museum of Modern Art, Anselm Kiefer, 2010-2011.
