woodcut, circa 1496, without watermark, a very good Meder a impression, with narrow margins, a short, un-inked printer's crease in the lower part of Samson's chest, a tiny repaired wormhole just above the base of the lion's tail, a small printing defect retouched with brown ink directly below the lion's eye, some minor surface skining, thin spots and pinpoint foxing, generally in good condition
B. 384 x 280 mm., S. 389 x 282 mm.
