The terrestrial globe surveyed to 1879, the celestial globe surveyed to 1870, each with brass meridian ring and on mahogany stirrup supports with turned columns and incurved tripod legs joined by turned stretchers centred by a compass, on castors, the terrestrial globe with additional later painted retailer's name 'WILLIAM COLLINS SONS & CO AGENTS LONDON, GLASGOW, EDINBURGH & SYDNEY', each with an inventory label 'D1691'
