CASE: modelled as a bacchante carrying a clock on a thyrsus, oval plinth with Bacchic attributes, the front with applied ribbon-tied floral swags, engine-turned feet DIAL: the gilt and painted Roman dial with engine-turned centre, blued steel Breguet hands MOVEMENT: twin barrels movement with anchor escapement and countwheel strike on bell; silk-suspended pendulum, winding key
