etching, 1879-80, on 19th century laid paper, signed with the butterfly and inscribed imp in pencil on the tab, a fine impression of third state (of four), printing with warm plate tone and delicate wiping marks, trimmed to the plate mark (as issued), very pale light-staining, otherwise in very good condition
