etching with drypoint printed in brown and black-brown, 1879-80, on thin 18th century laid paper, watermark Initials LVG, signed with the butterfly and inscribed imp in pencil on the tab, a fine and warm impression of a previously unrecorded state between the fifth and sixth states (of seven), printed with vertically wiped graduated tone in the water and above the arched windows, trimmed to the plate mark (as issued), in very good condition
