"The 1961 Haut-Brion was an explosively flavorful bottle, richly autumnal with deep notes of truffle, soy and roasting meat. On the palate the wine was fat and rich, with a soft, velvety texture and a penetrating finish. This is lovely now, and could probably hold, but will not likely continue to develop."
