Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with black center, silver periphery, subsidiary seconds and 11 white gold Roman numerals in 1997 and its subsequent sale on 15 January 1998. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe fitted burgundy presentation box.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch as never been offered at auction before. It is furthermore believed to be the only third example of a reference 5022 in white gold with the black engine-turned dial to appear in public to date.

Reference 5022 was in production from 1997 to 2003 and available in all three gold colours as well as in platinum.
