Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin and Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with black dial and seven white Arabic numerals in 1997 and its subsequent sale on 9 December 1997. Furthermore delivered with 18K white gold and wooden setting pin, instructions, product literature, a general typed letter from Patek Philippe Geneva in German dated 9 October 1996 thanking clients for their purchase, fitted veneered presentation box and outer packaging.

Purchased by the present owner in 1997, the present watch has never been offered in public before and is preserved in very good overall condition.

Reference 5055 was in production from 1998 to 2004 in yellow, white and pink gold and platinum. Dial colours included white, salmon or black.
