Cal. 12''' gilt-finished cylinder movement, plain three arm brass balance, gold cuvette, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, circular case with chased floral and scroll decorated rims, band and bow, black enamel covers centred by a lozenge-shaped cartouche on the back, the front with applied diamond-set floral decoration, case stamped and numbered, cuvette signed and numbered, movement numbered underneath the dial

Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with diamond ornamented cover, coat-of-arms and black enamel in 1869 and its subsequent sale on 24 July 1872. Furthermore delivered with a gilt metal key in the form of a knight's helmet with hinged visor.
