Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with black dial and nine white gold Breguet-style numerals in 1999 and its subsequent sale on 13 July 2000.
Reference 5041 is the rarest of all perpetual calendar watches of Patek Philippe's standard production. In production from 1995 to 2003, it is with the exception of the enlarged, flat bezel identical to reference 5040. Reference 5041 was exclusively made in white gold, with black dial and Breguet numerals. Although the exact production numbers are not publicly known, reference 5041 is clearly one of the rarest models featuring a perpetual calendar of recent production.
