For the Opus V series, Harry Winston had to come up with another ground-breaking timepiece to satisfy demands from collectors of the previous Opus series. This time, under the leadership and vision of Maximilian Büsser (please see lot 3985), Harry Winston decided to collaborate with Felix Baumgartner from URWERK.
The Opus V represents the DNA merge of the two brands, offering the unmistakable look of the URWERK satellites, while Harry Winston is well known for its use of retrogrades.
Released in 2005 at Baselworld, this Opus V is number 33 and was manufactured in a limited series of only 45 pieces in platinum. Furthermore, the present lot is in overall excellent condition.
