Lot Essay

According to the vendor his grandfather created Radio Scotland, an offshore pirate radio station broadcasting on 1241 kHz mediumwave (242 metres). He believes that this tape was broadcast as part of Roger Gayle's Beatles 65 show, but that it wasn't broadcast until 1966, as the station's launch was delayed. It is the only known recording of the interview, as the master would probably have been recorded over, leaving the actual broadcast, consisting of the interview interspersed with songs being the only version remaining.
