AN IMPORTANT RUBY AND COLOURED DIAMOND RING
Set with an oval-shaped ruby, weighing 8.11 carats, to the yellow diamond surround and shoulders, mounted in gold, size 6
Accompanied by report no. 11055090 dated 1 June 2011 from the Gübelin GemLab stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, and that it shows a 'Pigeon blood red' colour; together with two Notes and an Appendix stating that 'The natural ruby of 8.11 ct (...) possesses a richly saturated and homogeneous colour, combined with a high degree of transparency, and a finely proportioned cut.'
Report no. CS 44716-1 dated 6 May 2011 from the AGL American Gemological Laboratories stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin, with no heat enhancement; and a booklet 'JewelFolio' describing the ruby in detail
