Lot Essay

The embroidery on this suit has been taken from an Ottoman wedding gown of the late 19th century. See Lot 332 for an example of such a wedding gown.

Sergio Soldano dressed many stars, including Miss Taylor. His signature furs were given credits on X, Y & Zee as worn by her.
