The tapering cylindrical handle decorated with panels of translucent salmon pink enamel painted en grisaille to simulate dendritic agate over wavy guilloché ground, framed by white champlevé enamelled borders, within further stippled gold bands enamelled with white and oyster pellets and translucent red ribbon-tied frieze of husks and green leaves, with diamond-set borders, the top set with a rose-cut diamond finial, marked on lower mount
