Of tapering cylindrical form, the reeded body with central band of arabesque strapwork in the Old Russian style on stippled ground, centring polished medallions, the top border chased with a Russian proverb, the lower border chased with linear ogee pattern, with geometric handle, the hinged lid peaked and chased with strapwork, marked under base and lid
