Comprising: twelve dinner-spoons, twelve dessert-spoons, twelve teaspoons, twelve small teaspoons, twelve dinner-forks, twelve dessert-forks, twelve dinner-knives, twelve dessert-knives, twelve fish-forks, twelve fish-knives, one serving-spoon, one soup-ladle, one fish-slice, one carving-knife, one carving-fork, two serving-forks, two different serving-slices, one serving-knife, each with Neo-Classical style handle, the terminal with acanthus-edged cartouche engraved with the monogram 'OH' of Archduke Otto Habsburg of Austria, some parcel-gilt, in a fitted wood case, all but twelve dessert-knives marked on handles

Lot Essay

Archduke Otto Habsburg of Austria (1865-1906), Prince Royal of Hungary and Bohemia, was the second son of Archduke Karl Ludwig of Austria. He married Princess Maria Josepha of Saxony in 1886 and had two sons, including Charles I of Austria, the last Emperor of Austria.
