Lot Essay

In the summer of 1976 Wu travelled to Shandong to sketch, and this picture is one of them. During its first publication along with other sketches made at a similar time, there was only a seal without a signature. The upper right title and signature are estimated to have been added after 1979, as were the pencil markings.
