Gilt-finished verge movement, chain fusée, chased, engraved and pierced cock and foot to the edge of the top plate, pierced decorative pillars, silver champlevé dial, engraved and blacked Roman numerals, outer Arabic five minute divisions, plain circular case, later silver outer case, case with casemaker's initials IL and London date letter for 1725, movement signed and numbered
