With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with diamond-set numerals in 1949 and its subsequent sale on June 20th of the following year. The present example was sold by Patek Philippe as a movement only with diamond-set numerals and cased in platinum in a similar Top Hat model case by an outside maker.
