Gerald Laing (1936-2011) rose to prominence in 1960s London as a prolific pop-artist producing paintings and screen prints of popular figures, models and even astronauts. After an extended departure exploring the media of sculpture, Laing returned in the relatively recent past to painting and prints of popular figures such as Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss and his favourite modern muse - the late Amy Winehouse.
