SICULO-ARABIC, 12TH CENTURY
With traces of gilt decoration to the lid: the front with the remains of two eagles in roundels, the reverse with a bird in an elaborately decorated mandorla and foliate gilt decoration to the corners; the lockplate possibly associated; losses, repairs and replacements
