Lot Essay

Lucille E. Davison, wife of the late Robert C. Davison and lifelong resident of Manchester, New Hampshire. Both she and her husband were well-known as passionate and active philanthropists. Upon her death in June 2010, Mrs. Davison left a substantial bequest to Saint Anselm College, where several key structures had been built by the Davison Construction Company. Mrs. Davison was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Society of Colonial Dames and the Elliot Hospital Associates. Held in high regard as an enthusiastic benefactor and volunteer, Mrs. Davison left a legacy of generosity and engagement in the community causes that were close to her heart.
