With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with two-tone blue dial in 1978 and its subsequent sale on 23 October 1979. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe servicing tag.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never been offered at auction before and is one of the few examples of this model to have reappeared in public to date.

Reference 3862 was in production from the late 1970s until the mid-1980s, available in white or yellow gold.
