With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvered dial and raised Breguet hour makers in steel in 1943 and its subsequent sale on 29 September 1943.

Fresh to the market this watch is believed to be one of only four examples of a reference 592 in stainless steel and with the much sought after Breguet numerals to appear in public to date.
