Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with Breguet and red numerals, fifths of a second scale and subsidiary seconds in 1912 and its subsequent sale on 20 March 1918. Furthermore delivered with Patek Philippe brown presentation box with gilt initials C.M. on the front cover.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never been offered in public before. Consigned by a private collector it is preserved in generally very good, original overall condition.
