A SILVER-MOUNTED CUT-GLASS JUG
MARK OF THE 15TH ARTEL, MOSCOW, 1908-1917
Slightly tapering cylindrical, the colourless glass body cut with diamond and star patterns, the neck mount chased with scrolling acanthus and foliage within beaded rims, the hinged cover with laurel wreath finial rising from a leafy calyx, the spout engraved with stylised initials possibly 'EL', the scroll handle chased with acanthus at both ends, gilt interior, marked inside cover, finial, on neck mount and handle
