With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1979, set with 96 diamonds weighing approx. 0.82 ct. and its subsequent sale on 6 June 1980. Furthermore delivered with a fitted presentation box and outer packaging.

Skeletonized watches have increased in popularity in recent years and are today sought-after by many collectors. A detailed count reveals that less than 5 examples of reference 3884 have come up to auction to date. Fresh to the market, the present lot is furthermore in overall very good condition.
