With Maitres du Temps instruction manual, briefcase, fitted presentation box and outer packaging.
Maitres du Temps is not so much a new watch company as an entirely new horological concept. Founded by Mr. Steven Holtzman, it brings groups of master watchmakers together to develop exclusive timepieces.
It is a conscious effort to promote the people who actually craft the timepieces. By providing them the opportunity to work together Maitres du Temps harnesses their incredible talent.
The level of technical and design sophistication achieved by Maitres du Temps has rarely been seen in watchmaking and is the result of the right combination of people sharing a bold vision.
Steven Holtzman started Maitres du Temps in 2007 with an entirely new watch making concept in mind. The idea was to bring together a group of master watchmakers to create and design exclusive luxury timepieces. The master watchmakers rotate so that each design is innovative and unique.
The result has been that Maitres du Temps watches have achieved a level of technical and design sophistication that is rarely seen in the watch making business. Apparently, using the right combination of watch making masters who share a bold vision can lead to innovative, beautiful, and sophisticated luxury time pieces.
Each Maitres du Temps collection of luxury timepieces is divided into chapters. Chapter one was developed and designed by Roger Dubois, Christophe Claret, and Peter Speake-Marin. The chapter one collection of luxury timepieces is truly innovative and exclusive in styling and design.
Chapter One is a combination of complications with tourbillon, mono-pusher chronograph, retrograde date, retrograde GMT, and two rolling bars at 6 o'clock and 12 o'clock, indicating the day of the week and phase of the moon, respectively. The movement (caliber SHC02) of this watch consists of 558 components and is limited to 50 pieces only.
