Lot Essay

US$3,000-5,000

With Waltham Guarantee dated 11 October 2001, fitted presentation box and outer packaging.

The Waltham Masonic wristwatch is quite a significant piece for watch collectors as well as Masons because of its rarity and symbolism - the dial featuring the symbolic Masonic working tools of the many degrees with the regenerating Rising Phoenix in the centre and the all-seeing Eye of Providence at 12 o' clock. Engraved on the bezel is the unbroken chain of Brotherly Love and Affection and at the apex of the triangle, a compass within a circle, a measurement of the virtue and conduct upheld by the Freemasons.
