"The 99 RSV at this stage is still an infant V really very primary, with dense, spicy cherry fruit on the nose with hints of flowers and exotic spices but still no sign of the developed nuance that will undoubtedly come with time. On the palate the wine is rich and tannic, with great intensity and verve. This is a triumph, a really wonderful Burgundy that will improve for decades to come. Yum.
