Eric Grate (1896-1983) was a Swedish sculptor, painter, and scenographer best known for his large, public sculpture commissions in Sweden. While Eric Grate is most closely associated with the European, especially Swedish, modernists and expressionists, his work is deeply influenced by themes of antiquity.
