Two early 20th century gem-set brooches
One set with a pearl within a calibré-cut ruby surround, to an openwork frame of wreath and lattice design millegrain-set with old and rose-cut diamonds, circa 1910, pearl not tested for natural origin, pendant deficient, 3.0cm long; the other of quatrefoil design, set with an old brilliant-cut diamond in a half-moon shaped sapphire surround, within a further floral surround accented with diamond and sapphire points, to a rose and old-cut diamond openwork border, circa 1900, 2.9cm long (2)
