Gift of the artist to Jack and Régine Kallish
Thence by descent
Régine was a close friend of Janine Mongillat (Raza's wife). They were camp counselors together in France as teenagers. Through Janine, the Kallishs met Raza and have been friends with him since the early 1950s and have remained friends even after their move to the United States in 1955.
