A mid 19th century ruby and seed pearl-set gold parure
The necklace composed of a stamped and engraved gold cartouche with scroll detail, centrally-set with a foil-backed ruby and accented with seed pearls, suspending a smaller similar pendant from two fancy-link chains, to a fancy-link necklace, the bracelet, brooch and earrings of similar design, circa 1840, fitted green leather case
Accompanied by the original receipt dated Limoges, 8th September 1842 (5)
