The domed quatrefoil base supporting four winged gargoyles, the lower body of cup chased with a border of ribbons and cartouches with the coats-of-arms of Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Russia, the upper bowl chased with undulating ribbon and heart border, the bowl with everted rim, the base chased with presentation inscription: TO V.O. Co. FROM E.M 4 OCT 1866 1916, marked under base
