The circular tureen on four scroll feet, the body and cover chased and applied all over with foliage, fruits and berries against a matte ground, with berry finial, the shaped oval stand with conforming decoration, the ladle with fruit-form termial, the tureen with fitted liner, marked on bases, cover and reverse of ladle, also marked 245MI and 800

A soup tureen of this design, from the Marcos Collection, was sold on behalf of the Republic of the Philippines through the Presidential Commission on Good Government, Christie's, New York, 10 January 1991, lot 3.
