Bovet: finely engraved and chased floral decorated gilt-finished keywound movements, no. 442 cylinder escapement, no. 696 straight lever escapement, hinged glazed display cuvettes, white enamel dials, Roman numerals, centre seconds, circular cases, pearl-set bezels, pendants and bows, backs decorated with painted polychrome enamel portraits of a lady on translucent enamel background, No. 442: case stamped with Bovet's Chinese signature and numbered, dial signed; No. 696: case stamped with Bovet's Chinese signature and numbered, dial signed with Bovet's Chinese signature and numbered, movement signed and stamped with Bovet's Chinese signature; Swiss: gilt-finished keyless cylinder movement, white enamel dials, Roman numerals, circular cases, pearl-set bezels and rims, backs decorated with painted polychrome enamel portraits of a lady on translucent enamel background, unsigned
