After her studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Gemological Institute of America, Cindy Chao left New York City and began her career in Taipei to bring her experience of the West back to the East. Her great knowledge of sculpturing techniques and sense of architecture, given respectively by her father and grandfather, have inspired and influenced her jewellery creations since the beginning. Under her brand 'Cindy Chao The Art Jewel', founded in 2004, she infuses the expressive fashion element and unique cultural fusion into her bold and daring designs.
