Recorked at the Château in 2007. New labels and short Château capsules. Three very slightly damaged capsules. All levels base of neck or better. In new Château wooden case following the release direct from the Château
Tasting Note: Tasted well over a dozen times over the last 35 years, almost all 5-star though colour variation noted, from lemon gold to rich warm amber. Most recently, a magnum: an amazing colour, bright gold with apple-green rim; bouquet of dried apricots, honey and butterscotch; sweet, not cloying not overwhelming. Delicious flavour. Firm, crisp '28 acidity. Last tasted August 2005. ***** M.B.
