ATTRIBUTED TO VULLIAMY & SON, LONDON, CIRCA 1805, PROBABLY AFTER THE ANTIQUE
With ring handles and Medusa mask to each side, on a Belloc griotte plinth base, repairs and restoration to the base, formerly with further feet
4¾ in. (12 cm.) high; 9 in. (22.7 cm.) wide; 4 1/8 in. (10.4 cm) deep
Provenance
Almost certainly supplied by Vulliamy & Son, London, to Edward Lascelles, 1st Earl of Harewood (1740-1820) and by descent at Harewood House, Yorkshire.
