Lot Essay

US$120,000-180,000

With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated 16 June 2010, additional case back, setting pin, sales tag, instruction manual, product literature, leather wallet, fitted presentation box and outer packaging.

Fresh to the market, the present platinum version, in virtually "mint" condition and with all of its accessories originally supplied, is a premium example from this very exclusive series since it has never been offered in public before and comes from a very distinguished private collection. In fact, until today not even ten examples of reference 5970P have been offered at auction, underlining its rarity. Despite having only 2 years of age it is already today considered a great classic and will not only provide enormous pleasure on its future owner's wrist, but will also be a pillar in any collection focusing on Patek Philippe's history of complicated wristwatches.
