With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with diamond indexes in 1953 and its subsequent sale on October 14th of the same year.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.

Production of the reference 2461 was launched in 1950 and is the wider version of the reference 425. A total of approximately 500 watches were made during the 15 years of production, with the majority in yellow gold and platinum.
